Doodles NFT: Scientologist Cult?

Doodles are a collection of 10,000 NFTs (non-fungible tokens) that are made up of hundreds of traits with a “space” themed ecosystem.
The Church of Scientology has 10,000 churches operating in 167 countries with “space” related beliefs.

As described in this research article — the similarities between the two organizations may be shocking. Are Doodles aligned with the Church of Scientology? Have they hidden Scientologist symbolism within their art? Have we been fooled into spreading propoganda by the Doodles team?
You be the judge…
SCIENTOLOGIST BELIEFS & SYMBOLS
Scientology is a set of beliefs and practices invented by American author L. Ron Hubbard, and an associated movement. It has been variously defined as a cult, a business, or a new religious movement. According to Scientologist texts, an alien (Xenu) brought billions of people to Earth in spacecraft resembling Douglas DC-8 airliners. Below is a DC-8 side-by-side with a Space Doodle Jet. The similarities are uncanny.

The alien (Xenu) stacked spirits around volcanoes and detonated hydrogen bombs in the volcanoes. The spirits then clustered together, stuck to the bodies of the living, and continue to do this today. Below is an Alien and Lit Doodle — a possible reference to Xenu and the volcanic event in Scientology.

The main symbol of “new-era” Scientology is an “S” curving through two triangles. The “S” stands for Scientology.

The DOODLES name and logo contains the letter D twice — delta in Greek. The name containts two “Delta” symbols and ends with the letter “S”. — ΔooΔleS — Is this a direct reference to the main symbol of Scientology?

DOODLE TRAITS
Within the Doodles ecosystem live multiple beings. The Doodles universe is ever-expanding and new experiences like Space Doodles are available to collectors. Could the Doodles recent launch of Space Doodles actually be the evil Lord Xenu sheparding humans to Earth 75 million years ago?

The most memorable and well-known Doodle image is the rainbow puke Doodle trait. Note that the Doodle character is positioned “Over the Ranbow” in their logo:

“Over the Rainbow” is a 2019 documentary examination of the controversial Church of Scientology which focuses on its fringes: alien abductions, art dealing, E Meters, and the Sea Organization, and weaves together interviews with both active and inactive members. Curious coincidence?
The symbol for dianetics and the the Delta are common in Scientology. Dianetics is practiced by followers of Scientology.

The Sea Org is Scientology’s upper echelon of staff members. Hubbard coined the name during the sixties, when he dubbed himself ‘Commander’ of a small fleet of ships staffed by Scientologists.

The Rank #13 Rare Gold Doodle:

L. RON HUBBARD
Prior to founding the ideas and principles of Scientology, Hubbard was commissioned as a lieutenant junior grade in the United States Naval Reserve on July 19, 1941.

Doodles traits may pay homage to the military background of the founder…

The Doodles discord has even gone so far as to name Doodle #8270 — “Ron Hubbard”…

THE DOODLES TEAM
The Doodles team uses “working aliases” and are known as Burnt Toast, Tulip and Poopie. The acronym formed combining their initials, “BTP” couled refer to BTP Arcadia company which was infiltrated by Scienologists in June 2014.
The principal business address of Doodles, Inc. is located at 3110 Thomas Avenue in Dallas, Texas. This is a convenient 14–18 minute drive to the local Church of Scientology.

MINT SUPPLY, PRICE AND DATE
As stated in the beginning of this article, Doodles is a collection of 10,000 NFTs — and The Church of Scientology boasts 10,000 churches.
The mint price of Doodles was .123 ETH. This was a high mint price at the time. Interstingly, the Internet-based group “Anonymous” released a press release on January 23 (“123”), 2008, outlining what they call a “War on Scientology”. Is it possible that the Doodles mint price is a reference to their dissatifaction with that press release?
Doodles minted on October 16, 2021 — this is the same day that more than 7,000 Scientologists from 50 nations congregated at Saint Hill Manor in England in 2009. Did the Doodles team attend this event and commemorate the occasion with their mint?

RECENT ANNOUNCEMENTS — PHARELL
On Tuesday (June 21, 2022), Doodles announced that legendary producer, Pharell Williams will serve as its new Chief Brand Officer.
In an interview with the Christian Post, February 4, 2021, Pharell described his experience with the “Holy Spirit.” He said, “The energy is so thick, arguably a scientist could go in there with the right bag and capture it, take it home, release it in their room and feel the same thing. That is one of the most amazing power sources.” Coincidence? You decide.

CONCLUSION
Have we been lead astray by the Doodles team and NFT project? Do they have ties to the Church of Scientology? Are they holding secret meetings at NFT NYC and South by Southwest to further their goals and spread the word of L. Ron Hubbard? This is a question for the NFT Community to decide. As always — do your own research. This article is not intended as financial advice.*
